Kids Calender Reminder Problem

Hi
I having a problem with outlook 2000.There are 2 personal folders in outlook.Problem is while im using "reminder" then save and close.im getting this error message( then its asks yes or no

The reminder for (reminder name)will not appear becouse the item is not your calener or task folder.is this ok?

After i select yes.it doesnt work reminder options


need urgent help guys..

I always get that as well when I'm trying to set up a reminder in a Personal Folders File. AFAIK, you can only set up reminders in Exchange folders - not in PST files.

I could be wrong.. this is just what I've noticed.

You really want a second opinion. BUMP this thread over the weekend if you don't get any more responses.

You are the first i get respond from .Also i asked many people for this problem no body knows.strange isnt it?

also i could find any documantation on the net about that.

Hmmmm, I´ve seen similar problems but not exactly the way yours is. Try the following:

Mark your calender folder and open the "View" menu, select "Current View" and then "By Category". Open the catagories displayed (click on the + symbol) and see if you can find any items with a sysmbol that looks like crossed swords. These indicate conflicting appointments, so you will need to decide which ones to keep in this case. Once you´ve removed all conflicts close Outlook. Now open the Start menu and choose run.
Type in Outlook /cleanfreebusy.

thank you for youe help.i`ve tried it didnt work.i m gonna use it on exchange server.other think is when use reminder on exchange server email account for example if i select 4 mins later then save .it comes immieditly where can i change the setting to get my reminder on time.?
