Here we go again. There are no sounds on my confuser, I can play a cd but cannot hear anything. No other sounds work either. wtf? TC

you need to post a little more info than just the problem...we need to know what motherboard, soundcard, speakers, os ect kinda hard to help without knowing what you're using

might try reinstalling the sound card drivers and chcking the device manager for conflicts

Make sure your speakers are plugged in and the volume is turned up. Also check the sound stuff in control panel and make sure those sounds are up. And maybe you need to install some codecs to hear the CD depending on what you are using to play it.
