Kids Problems with partitioning a 80GB HD

Can anyone tell me why when I go to FDisk to partition my new 80 GB HD it is telling me that I only have 10 GB.

I have removed all existing partitions.
I have enable large disk support.
My IDE settings for HD is on Auto Detection

Thanks!

you have an older version of fdisk.

the older version calculates up to 67gb. Then, it starts over.
To get a newer version, go to http://www.fdisk.com
you'll have to extract the file and take the fdisk.exe and copy it to your startup disk or wherever.

Here's a quick link: http://ffdisk.webaps.de/fdisk121.zip

or I think you can just get a windows ME disk....I think it is the newer fdisk etc.

look at www.bootdisk.com

I have NEVER used any of the software that comes with a drive, lol...I am scared of it. I always just use fdisk and format. Or of course if you are installing xp you dont use anything, you just let XP do it.
