Video card of choice?

jsut wondering i have a choice to get 3 vid cards see if any of them are the best or worst..


FX 5200 256mb DDR
9600xt 128mb DDR
or the 9600 256mb DDR

anyone wanna lend a hand?

my 9000PRO 128 is kinda outta date XD

The XT is the fastest out of your listings.Stay away from 256 MB cards unless your talking about the 9800 Pro 256 or 9800 XT. Mid end and low end cards will not fully use 256 MB in games.

The 9600 Pro is a good choice too. Faster than the 9600 (Non-Pro) and Geforce FX 5200 but cheaper than the 9600 XT (though not as fast of course). If you've got the money get the XT, if you need to save a few $ then get the 9600 Pro.

now i was over at a friends place who owns a 9600SE, he got it off ebay for $110 and it came with HL2, he ran the bench and nailed 12400, put it my comp and hit 12600.........now i just snagged that card from a guy who has quite a few for only $70...brand new.....i think we have a winner, i hope my gut feeling is right.....its not a pro or an xt, but its not a Non-pro....
