No video on an M811LU

I just installed a new PCCHIPS M811LU and I cant get any video from the computer. The computer has a G-Force 2 card. I also tried a PCI and it didnt work. Can someone please help me?

Are you just not getting video, or is it not booting at all? BIG difference.

Sorry about that should have been more elaborate. The board wont boot at all. It is a motherboard combo that was ordered from compubuzz.com. After I installed the board it did nothing. I am thinking that the processor may be bad but I dont want to send it back until I am sure.

Did you wire the power button connection up right? Moved the CMOS Clear jumper to Normal position? Connected the CPU fan to the CPU fan header?

Thanks for the information it is much appreciated. I finally figured the problem. Everything was done correctly on the board but the DDR that I had for the computer was bad. I aquired another stick and the problem was solved. Again thanks for the assistance.

Say friend, that mobo work pretty good? Saw it at newegg for $29. I've been thinking about buying a mobo to start using DDRs.

811 is made to be a bargain board, using an older chipset, on a very basic board with no funny extras. You get LAN, stereo sound, and FSB200/266 support; no 333 or 400.
If that suits your needs, go ahead. It's solid. If you want a more recent chipset, you should be looking into M848v2 or M852 (SiS 748 and VIA KT400 chipsets, respectively).
