Messed up 3D Mark01

Tell me what the reason for the low score is and why I barely score any better at 640X480?????????????????????????!!! I seriously think 3D Mark01 has major glitches.

I have the same problem with my 5950 ultra. 3DMark2001 is stupid.

Actually that's not so bad. It means you don't have any bottlenecks in the system. The 640x480 is almost purely using processor power and not the graphics card. Why? I'm not quite sure. You'd think you would get much better at low res but it doesn't really work that way. It just means that you have the right amount of processing power for the video card you are using. Maybe there is no way that all the power your computer has can be used up in 640x480? You'll more than likely see the same rusults if you were to run a quakeIII test or something of that nature at 640x480.

It would only"purely" nothing but the CPU on software rendering.
at 640X480 it is still using everything the CPU and GPU have got. At 640X480, it should be getting few K higher.

And yes I do have a bottleneck, the 480 Mhz FSB.
