Data Retrieval Software

I did a *(&* move and selected "disk from Image" in ghost and wiped all my partitions. I had 6 yrs of photos on my "f" partition.
I figured it was gone so I used Pmagic to resetup my partitions. I hoped I had an old backup on another hard drive. Got home ,and no backup. Did a search and found "getdataback" software. Even with deleting and then remaking partitions, this software worked like a charm. At least I had the common sence not to write to the "f" drive. It restored everything.. I guess this is an endorcement.
I had everything else backup but my data. Not anymore.

Getdataback

This is the first time i have had to use such a program and I was, to say the least, inpressed. getdata only find the files. you have to buy it before you can copy the files. It was the first one that came up in my search using Copernic. So that is the one I went with. I will keep the other one in mind.
