Does anyone know if the xp 2600 has the sse instruction set.
and how can you tell if it is a barton or a tbred.

Barton is at 1.9ghz Tbred is at 2.1ghz stock.

after looking doesn't the Barton have a 512 cache.

Yes the Barton has 512K L2 cache. The T-Bred has 256K L2 cache. Both run the 333MHz front side bus but as Starfury_2260 said the T-Bred runs at 2.1GHz and the Barton runs at 1.9GHz.
