LM_Sensors and 2.6.0

Anyone had any luck with this? I can get it do detect the sensors, I create the device nodes, and then it bums out when I run "sensors" saying "No Sensors found!" even though its all compiled into the kernel and sensors-detect seemed to work fine.
Ideas/Walkthroughs?
I'm going to have another blast at this tonight, as I want to be able to see the temps/fan speeds on this machine now I've got a decent overclock.
Gonna upgrade to 2.6.1 just now.
Thanks in advance,
Nukes

I never use such things.
I did see a link to one on kerneltrap though:
http://kerneltrap.org/node/view/799
Can't vouch for how good it will be. The only way I can recommend is to read the help for any bits your not sure about, and go through all the options. I use menuconfig, xconfig/gconfig should work as well.
I think I've found a solution to my problem, using the CVS for lm-sensors. Unfortunatly when I go to download it, it just returns me to the shell.
Maybe I'll just wait for 2.8.3

yeah, that's what I'm going to do. Getting it via CVS doesn't work for some reason, and I don't really want to go digging around for it now.
As it is, I can just run the fan full belt all the time. I'm back at school through the day, and it works as a wakeup call when it powers on at 7am each morning.

Got it sorted.
You need to do the following in the kernel config:
Enable ISA bus support in "bus options"
disable the i2c-dev module
enable the ISA interface module (i2c-isa)
enable the sensor chip's module.
and that worked. It doesn't work with i2c-dev and I don't know what its there for, but it seems to go fine over sysfs. Now just to tune my sensors.conf
