lexmark x1150 / win_xp problem

Hey guys,

I just bought the new lexmark 3 in 1 printer. It scans, copies, and prints all in one device. Anyways i contacted the lexark support guy atleast 4 times with no success. What is happening is that the printer, prints everything out fine, however on the software side of my computer it hangs at 99% and never compeletes the job. So basically i have to restart my computer everytime i print something. I am using Win_xp Pro btw. If anyone has any suggestions on what this might be please offer a suggestion. Or if anyone has had this problem please let me know. Lexmark has not been successful trying to fix this problem and is no where near fixing this problem. Thanx for the help guys.

are you sure that the cd for the printer says it is for xp
xp will support a lot of the functions of such devices by its self and a lot of times the device software on the cd is not xp compatable
ran in to this same problem with other brand 3-1 printers

Try applying/reapplying SP 1 to XP....also checking the event log may provide some answers.
