The only time it will come up with that error is if you're using a burned copy, or if the CD is actually bad. You say you bought it, so your best bet is to get it exchanged.

i would uninstall it, then re-install it again....start with the #1 cd then go from there...follow the installation directions to the tee (which i am sure you did)...you actually use disk 2 to play the game...good luck..and welcome to TechIMO

Remove Disk2 and just leave in Disk1, maybe that will work.

I would return the game and get a new one but until you do you should be able to find a nocd crack to use. Try gameburnworld.com or your favorite P2P network.

I use NoCD cracks so that I don't have to drag all my disks with to LAN parties, along with scratch prevention for those expensive disks.

I don't know if I would trust cracks from P2P nets, but that's just me.

MegaGames is where I get all of my cracks, updates and patches for my games

no offense, but is your copy an original one?

those copied games would require a game crack to let it read the cd from the CDROM drive even if you did a maximum install of the game.

Are you running any kind of virtual drive programs, like Alcohol 120% or Virtual CD? My friend had that problem, checked EA's web site and found that that wouldnt allow the game to run.
