can sombody teach me how to hide my ip completely from the network?

what kind of network? and for what purpose?

it is just a network link comp by switch, i want to set the comp to be the server but v\cannot be detect by other user

other uses on the network or the internet?


hiding your self on a lan is not something easy.

but i heard my friend saying that to modify sth in regedit, and its easy to... just not too sure

You want it to be a server but not detected? Who will it serve if nobody can see it?
Do you mean you want it accesible from the Internet but not the computers in your building?
