Getting Rid of MS Outlook Express?

How do I get rid of this God forsaken program? I can't remove it via the add/remove programs via the control panel nor can I manually delete it via Windows explorer? What's going on here?

My Rig:

AMD Athlon 2500 Barton
Asus A7V333 MB
Windows XP Professional

You should be able to see it in 'Add/Remove Windows Components'.

If you can't see it, you will need to install SP1.

What is your source of info for this statement? Just because you delete a program out of the start menus doesn't mean the program is uninstalled. Deleting icons out of the start menus does NOT uninstall or remove the program it ONLY removes the start menus icon.

Why are you removing it? Some MS programs use OE for certain functions, if I'm not mistaken (such as reading certain NewsGroups). You can delete the icons from your system tray, desktop, wherever they are, and then never have to think about it again. Just wondering why you'd go to the trouble to actually remove the whole program.
