Personally I would not use an electric screwdriver inside the case. One wrong slip and you might gouge the board and kill it. Are you really that lazy?

I would recommend the Black and Decker cordless. It works well and saves strain.

As Elroy said DON'T use it near the motherboard. Use it to unscrew the case or install drives. DON'T use it to screw in the motherboard or adapter cards or anything else. Use a regular hand screw driver.

I don't know. It's not like there are a billion screws in this job. Pros use them inside the case.

i dont see how it's worth it. you can get the screws in just as fast with a normal screwdriver.

you don't want to force in a screw...and risk stripping it and ruining the slots.
a good magnetic head screwdriver works wonders...especially if you drop the screw and can't get your grubby fingers between the mb and case, lol.
if you're playing with hundreds of screws a day, I can see where purchasing a $40-$50 screwdriver would be useful, but I'd just stick with what's standard, imho.
I used to work for a small company back home which installed networks and puters into small businesses...we'd do lots of modifications (take out proprietary vid cards, etc) on their Compaq puters...and Compaq provided free magnetic screwdrivers with each order from them (corporate account) to help with the assembly/disassembly. I use that even now, though the head is a little stripped. the magnetic head is extremely helpful.

I've used cordless screwdrivers for cases and components. When it comes to the insides I used my long (23") screwdriver. more stability in using it and great to open monitors.
