Mouse movement problems.. !!!!!

I got a problem i need my mouse movements to be more continuous, don’t know wear I can setup for that is, I got windows XP home edition. Also I got Microsoft explorer 3,

The only thing I se u can change for the mouse movement is the sensitivity, not how jagged the mouse movement are.

try control panel/printers and other hardware/pick a control panel ICON (mouse)

s/b a mouse properties window. click the motion tab, set the speed in the middle.

Thx but i wasn't asking for the movement speed, what i mean was

Try to explain this, so all understand

Try to move your mouse, the smallest distance who is possible, and u maybe will se that the mouse aren’t continuous as you want, then the question is how do you change this.

But still thx for the answers, i can be a littel hard to understand .

maybe the mouse ball is dirty and it is causing all the problems......
....i recomend you wash the mouse ball with soap and water and after you wipe it with a clean cloth and put it back in you might feel the difference in how the mouse pointer moves and it should move a little smoother.......
