HL2 Benchmark?

Any1 have any info on this one? Valve was once quoted on saying that they would release a benchmark for everyone to test their PC on HL2 performance back in Sept. I understand all the fun stuff that's been involved with that company in the past few months... But I was just wondering.

Dont' worry, already got 3Dmark01, 03, Aquamark3, GLMark, ShaderMark, FFX1 Bench, CodeCreatures, & GLExcess...

Benchmarking is kinda' cool... Just to see what the computer can dish out and handle.

Yea, there will be a HL2 Benchmark, kinda like the Jedi Knights 2 *i think* Benchmark, and the Halo Benchmark.
