windows 2000 boot problem
Heres the problem i deleted the userinit.exe file by mistake and now windows will not load the file is still in the recycling bin is there a way to restore this file from dos?
any help you could give me would be great.

You could try booting into Safe Mode.

If you can't you'll have to boot using the 2K CD and use 'Recovery Console' to copy the file you need back.

safe mod will not work will try 'Recovery Console' .

Yep. You can either install it, or just run it from the 2K CD. All I've ever done is run it from the 2K CD.
