What Upgrade?

I have $125 (give or take) and I want to upgrade something.

Here are my specs

Asus A7S333 mobo
XP 2400+ OC'd to 2.21Ghz
Tt K7 Volcano 11+
768mb PC2100 (256x3)
30GB ATA 100 HD
80GB ATA 133 HD
Memorex DVD+-R
ATI 9600XT OC'd Core 550 Mem 330

I use this PC mostly for gaming. What would you buy to boost performance?

I don't see speakers listed, so I'm gonna say surround sound speakers.

That would require something besides onboard sound I would guess. I do lots of lan parties so I use headphones mostly for gaming.

i agree w/jagnorm...i would get a nice pair of speakers, something like the klipsch promedia 2.1s.

use em for gaming or for a kick-ass sound system.

I just bought some Logitech 640's for $79 @ Circuit City ($66 @ newegg...I am impatient some...most of the the times)

Sound real good....great purchase.


why not get a sound card and some speakers?
