Using Outlook Express with two ISP's

My wife's company uses Outlook Express for their email client. They're email server is a service they buy from the web (not their ISP). She's started doing work from home, and needs to be able to send/receive email.

At first, I just changed the outgoing mail SMTP server setting in OE to my home ISP server, and that seemed to work. She could still receive her work email at home as well as send email. But something has changed and she can only either send (using my ISP username and password) or receive (using her work username and password).

I don't understand why this doesn't work. Any Ideas?

Thanks, Dave

Probably the best thing to do is make another "identity"

File->Identities--> add new identity.

She can have one identity for home, one for the work setup.

check in the help files under "identity"

also leave the mail on the server so it can be read from either place. I have had people call up for tech support to find out how to get mail off their home pc while at work or in another town.

How do you leave it on the server using OE?

I believe it's on the 'Advanced' tab under 'Options'. Look for someting like "Leave message on server".
