PS2 or USB port?

Hi, just got my optical mouse and it comes with a usb plug and an adapter to plug into the ps2 port.

Which is best, I have heard of some people having problems with keyboards and mice in the usb.

Thanks Doot

My optical came with a PS2 adapter as well. I use the PS/2 port. That works fine for me. I don't have any other use for the PS/2 port so why not?

Maybe if u need your mouse hot swappable then use the USB.

It doesn't make a difference to me.

I always use the ps/2 port.

1) You've got it, why waste it.
2) It has a higher theoretical refresh rate (never noticed a difference)
3) It seems to be waaay less affected by system load (mouse jumps at momentary 100% loads on any USB moused computer I've ever used).

#3 is the most important to me.
