Best cd/DVD Burning Software

I just got a new HP laptop that came with a dvd burner. Well i just got it formated and xp pro loaded up and all that good stuff. Now, it came with Intervideo Windvd Creator and was wondering if that was the best program to use. i have always used nero for makin cd's and sometimes adaptec ez cd creator. I just need it for burning cd's and burning videos from my handycam. Anyways, i guess i really have 2 questions. Whats the best burning software and whats a good video editing software. I was thinking adobe premier but who knows...

I use Nero 6 and Roxio 6. For burning DVd's I prefer Roxio. For burning cd's and backup I use Nero.

They are both great programs.

I am personally ANTI-NERO....Roxio 6 is the best and easiest program to ever use...if you are going to do some serious video editing, Adobe Premiere 6 is the best i've seen

Another vote for Nero here. Stable, fast, reliable, and great features in version 6.
Have created too many coasters with Roxio to be a fan, although in all fairness I haven't tried Roxio 6 (too happy with Nero to care).
