I been recently getting a message everyday from a person named Jasmine Delli. USually I click the unsubscrbie link and unbsubscribe. But I've done it like 20 times and it's been over a month and she keeps sending me crap.

How should I go about finding out what companies are selling my email?

I have GoDaddy.com domain name and I bought 5 email forwarding accounts also. And for some reason they gave me 200 more. I thought that was wierd, hopefully they didn't charge my Dad's credit card.

But now the point, should I make a email address for each website I sign up for? Like it I sign up for TechIMO.com again should I make, an email like techimo.comNOSPAM@r4nd.com except take out the nospam?

well thats the wrong thing to do to begin with. That just shows spammers that you actually read and open your spam mail best to just delete it or report the spam addy to your isp

as for the spam email addy, I usually use just one spam account if I did one for every site that might be a little crazy

Well firstly clicking those unsubscribe buttons often doesn't work because most spammers don't conform to the rules and abuse the unsubscribe buttons and use it to validate email addresses. That person you keep getting emails from put her and her domain in your block reciepts list.

Two, your godaddy domain thingy if you got 200 more email address i would suggest inquiring about this as they could very well charge your fathers credit card for that and he may not be happy about that and also needs to know about it in case he needs to put a stop payment on it or a reverse charge on his card.

As for your last question: if you are subscribing to other websites for informaiton or something use a yahoo address or a hotmail address that way if they do sell your info they'll only get a hotmail or yahoo address from you.

I'm going to ask my Dad about it, but 5 each were 99 centers. So that is like 40 bucks.

what i do is use www.cjb.net

i used to use it for a website (as a cloak) but have since gotten rid of the website. i still use the mail forwarding so that
ICanTypeAnythingHere@thenameofmysite.cjb.net

so i just replace that first thing with the name of the website, and ofcourse "thenameofmysite" is replaced with the actual name of my site. then in my emails, i can look at the "to" field and see which website it was from

this does not help against the people that have the cloaking stuff that puts a fake to and from address in though...
