Ti4600, good replacement??

I sent in my Ti4200 128mb because the heatsink fan started making really loud noises (like a buzzing sound). Anyway, BFG Technologies sent me a Ti4600 128mb with Samsung ram instead. Was this a good replacement?

Thanks in advance

The TI4600 has higher core and memory clock speeds than the TI4200 so I'd say it's a good replacement.

They sent you a whole new card, just because the fan was either dirty or dying?

Geez, that's some customer service

That's a great deal, even if you don't over clock, it should perform quite a bit better. I'm not sure how BFG is as a company, but if it has samsung memory then that is a great thing.
I had picked up some heatspreaders that were made by BFG and placed them on my msi geforce 4 ti 4600 and oc'ed the memory to 735mhz, default was 662, atleast for the msi card. I think the actual was 650.
