Kids Which Material?

I'm thinking about making some kind of structure for a external watercooling setup that would go under my PC. I've decided on using some form of plastic.

My concern is whether or not this structure will support the weight of my PC

I've thought about using acrylic or polycarbonate. I thought about using 1/8 inch thick acrylic but then switched to 1/4 inch thinking 1/8 would be too weak. But then I thought about polycarbonate.

The question now is what should I use? Another one is how easy is each material to work with? I'll probably be molding and cementing it.

Thanks

I took a look at some 1/4 inch acrylic today at a Home Depot and I got this thought. It lookes pretty sturdy and those clear acrylic cases that are sold are made from the same material and thickness so this should work for my idea then.

Am I wrong?
