Systems ntldr missing

I bought a new dvd burner, i build it in my pc, I started my pc and than it says; NTLDR is missing......

I tried everything, I edited my boot in bios, everything!!

but what i don't understand is that when look into bios (boot) with my old burner in my pc it see mine other harddisk, and than it's going well.
But when i put mine new burner in mine pc, i can't see the same hard disk. and i get the error again!!!

Can somebody help me, i am a newbie in this kind of things.

i assume you put the dvd burner and the hard drive on the same IDE?

do you have the master and slave set up right on the hard drive and the dvd burner?

like GZ said, make sure all your jumpers on both drives are setup correctly and that they are on the correct plug on the cable. sounds like it just isn't detecting your hard drive.
