CyanideCocktail is on a distinguished road
Outdoors DVD Audio Playback Problems

I have a Soyo Dragon Ultra Platinum board with via,
Northwood 1.8 Intel chip, Soundblaster Exitigy USB sound
card , my board supports USB 2.0. Everything works flawlessly
except the DVD audio. It sounds horrible! The DVD player in my
pc is a Sony bought at Circut City Xmas of 2002. around
60.00 dollars. I had originally installed Power DVD from a
CD , it was the full premium version. Then I installed the Microsoft
codec so I think that is the problem the codec is either installed improperly or in the wrong order. i Tunes and everything else like
games works fine just DVD audio sucks! There is no sound but great picture in Windows media player 9 when I play a DVD,
bad sound in PowerDVD, and I tried installing CinePlayer again
great picture horrible sound. Oh by the way my video card is a ATI 9700 Pro. Is there a way to remove and reinstall the audio codec for DVD? Is there a fix at all for this?
