Cool Master Jet 4
I have a new Aspire case and several mod goodies on their way from Newegg. What I also tried to order, was the new Jet 4 for P4s from Cool Master. Newegg was out of stock, and several other vendors on line were also out of stock or wanted too much and charged high shipping fees. I requested an alert from Newegg, and hoped I would be able to order one soon. Just stick with my stock Intel hs/fan for another week.
By chance, I checked with CompUSA, thinking the cost would be much higher. To my total surprise, they had it listed on their website for only $39.99! Counting Neweggs price and cost of shipping, it was $11.00 less. Unfortunately, they were out of stock in all their stores within my area.
When I came home from work today, I had a Newegg alert in my email, telling me the Jet 4 was now in stock. Before I clicked on the link, I went to CompUSA's site. They had them in stock in only one of their stores, 22 miles from my house. I called, and they had 3 in stock. The salesman was really cool and said he would set one aside for me when I told him I would be there in about 20 minutes.
This is one "COOL" looking unit! I have it sitting on my desk and can't wait until my stuff gets here from Newegg, which looks like Friday. It really has some weight to it, and is really well made. It really had some great reviews. The fact it was so hard to get is proof of that for me. I'll keep everyone posted on how it performs for me. The proof is in the pudding, but I don't think I'll be disappointed.
