Changing to keybord in Excell

I want to change to the "ohm" font occasionally , I rember it being part of wingdings font, for text that I am entering into a Excell sheet. When I used this feature I had a picture of a keyboard displayed over the Excell file that I could use to select the appropriate keys to create this symbol.
Can anyone remember how to get the virtual keyboard displayed on my screen?

Found it, I thought it was part of Excell but is is not. Go to "Start"/"Programs"/"Accesories"/"System"/"Character Map".
