sound problem?

Ive been having a problem with my sound and it just started yesterday. I am playing counterstike and the sound just goes all funny i dont know what the problem is. then i have to exit counterstrike and go back in and it works fine. Ive been using the on board sound card that came with my asus a7n8x duluxe since august and have had no problems before.

I would try updating the drivers and maybe even reseating the card. Also, does this just happen in CS?

well its the only game i was playing yesterday. ill try out more before i do anything.

its still doing it its a very distorted sound. where do i download new drivers?
