WinFast TV2000 XP Tv tuner sound help

I have a WinFast TV2000 XP Tv tuner card in my computer. It has worked fine for nearly 3 months. Last week I left town for 5 days and upon my return I fired up my computer and tried to watch some tv. Now the sound doesn't work. I made sure all conections are fine for the audio and cable and everything looks to be alright. I can't figure why I would loose the sound after 5 days of not using it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
