Which Speakers ?

Ok, I'm going to be getting a new set of speakers for my PC, mainly used for gaming and music. The sound card will probably be a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platnium Pro (haven't got it yet). The room size is about the size of a normal bedroom (although I own the house so noise going through the house is no issue). I want something that is clear, not too boomy (I recently returned a set of Logitech Z-680's as they were too boomy), something that is good quality, and will last some time to come. At the moment I'm only focusing on speakers and will work on cost later.
Which of the following speakers should I choose (all 5.1):

Creative Megaworks 550 (Gigaworks are not availible here yet)
Klipsch ProMedia Ultra
Altec Lansing 251
And I'm also open to suggestions
Or should I wait for the Creative Gigaworks

Thanx )

They might've been too boomy because of your room, rather than the sub. Different sized rooms resonate at different frequencies.

After reading some reviews, and a certain furry member kicking everyone repeatedly, I'd have to agree with jerry. The ProMedia Ultras are the way to go for quality.

OMG Promedia Ultra's all the way. If you can afford them unlike me, grab them and don't look back.

klipsch costs a lot... your second choice would be an altec 251.

They sound good for taking up so little space but would not a choice for most people who want anything high volume.
