Gaming Shocking D800

I bought a Dell Lat D800 in June. About a month ago it started to shock me while plugged into the wall. I called Dell and I am getting a new comp (long story on why I getting it now as a oppose to then, but they are giving a lot of comp upgrades of the hassle ) but I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

How were you getting shocked, did the plub have any metal exposed?
I had seen a friend send her's in and they sent her a dvd burner back with it. It was a pretty sweet deal.

I get shocked even when not touching metal parts, which was weird to me. seemed to shock me near the D-Port (which does have metal) and the touchpad (whose metal is hidden)

They are sending mine back with a new dvd burner, more ram, and a bigger hard drive

Sounds like it wasn't properly grounding at the wall outlet (whether that's the plug or the outlet, don't know). The whole thing could have had a small amount of current on it.

It wasnt the outlet b/c it happened on 3 different outlets in 3 different buildings. It might have been the AC brick.

According to dell they couldnt have a tech look at it, cause if the tech got hurt dell would get sued. And they couldnt send a new brick over cause if it hurt me more than the old one, I could sue dell. So they deciided to give me a whole new machine.

And I am not complaining about their methods of repairing the unit. woot!
