Kids Is this possible?

I currently have a Gigabyte Radeon9600 PRO card, but since I couldn't really overclock much over the stock settings (from stock 400/600 to 450/700) I ran over to their website for a possible BIOS flash.

http://tw.giga-byte.com/VGA/Support/...eon9600PRO.htm

Now, interesting thing is.. that there is another Radeon 9600PRO card that is clocked at XT speeds (500/600) but it is still based on the 9600PRO core. Will it be possible to flash my GV-R96P128DH to the GV-R96P128U version?

I would not reccommend this unless the video card BIOS utility lets you store the old BIOS (just like motherboard BIOSes let you do).
But, It SHOULD not work.

Yeah I would doubt it, try just seeing how high you can oc the card with out any video artifacting. then use the highest setting you can find.

for that card, i think you dont need to flash it anymore. it's fast enough. flashing BIOS has risks. sell it and buy a new and faster card. imo.
