NETmeeting gives me trouble

i cant seem to get netmeeting to work right. im using it through AIM i can get it to communicate to people on my LAN but i cant get it to communicate out. whats the problem?? Ive allready tried turning off my firewall program

The router might not be forwarding the packets correctly. I could never get netmeeting to work unless I was connected directly to my WAN link.

i found a thread in here but i couldnt get what it suggested to work

did you forward all the right ports?

updated the firmware for the router?

i gave up fighting with netmeeting and started to just put the machine into the DMZ zone.
