ok so my freind said he needs money for something and i suggested that we should switch mobos and cpus and i would give him some money to make up for the difference approxamitely, i have an msi kt333 ultra holds up to a 2200 amd, and i have a 2000 amd on it, he has a soyo dragon platinum and an amd 2600, i would then give him 60$ is this a good deal???

Sounds like you both benefit. Is the XP2600+ the 266FSB or the 333FSB? You may need to get some PC2700 DDR RAM to run it correctly if it's the 333FSB though.
