Hello I am new to Linux and was just wondering if you had to have a certain broadband or you can just use any?

Which Linux distribution did you decide to go with?

Are you having problems getting your broadband connection to work?

the issue isnt really weather you use cable or dsl, rather it is weather you are using wireless or just the cat-5 cable. if you are using wireless you dont really have the option of using wireless g. you are stuck with wireless b for now becasue they dont have drivers that work with linux at this time. if you are just using the cat-5 you should be fine.

Well full stable and out the box drivers for Wireless G networks doesnt exist yet, I have one linksys G card, and I'm able to use it, with a program and works as in windows the only difference you need to take some time to make it work...
