Suse 9.0 Pro - Internet Problem

I can't connect to the internet on my box running Suse Linux 9.0 Pro.

My specs are here:

DFI LanParty NFII Ultra A
AMD Athlon XP 2500+
Kingston 2x 256mb PC2100
GeForce FX 5200
Maxtor 60gb 7200RPM
52x CDROM

Whenever I started the installation, it was going along good until it was testing my internet connection. It could find my onboard network card but It's couldn't find my DSL connection. I'm thinking it is something to do with drivers. Where can I find drivers for Suse 9.0?

I haven't used Suse in a couple days but I'm going to start it up in a couple minutes so I can answer questions.

Is your DSL PPPoE? If so there may be some more config to do.

What happens when you run 'ifconfig' as root?

When you run lsmod, do you see the nvnet module in the list.?

When I got into my router it use to be PPPoE but when we got a Static IP it just has Static IP. I'm brandnew to Suse and Linux. How do i run stuff as a root? I'm know my password for it. For some reason my other monitor won't work with my comp. I think the pixel size is too bi, how do I change that?

Ok, I did run "ifconfig" normally and it said invalid or something. Then I clicked options and selected a different user which was root. Then at the bottom I put my password in. When I clicked run it just closed the run window. Let me try lsmod now.

Ok, I found the Konsole "Shell" thingy and when I typed ifconfig it did nothing. Probaly cause I didn't specify my root, but lsmod worked and it didn't say nvnet. But it had about 40 others with names relating to keyboard, mice, 1394 etc.

Ok, I got it working. I went into Yast2 and found the Network devices. My Realtek (sp?) integrated ethernet was already configured. I just deleted it and found it again and reconfigured it. Now it works! Also, my mobo has two ethernets on it so that may have gotten me confused.
