what is standard multiplyer of a 2600xp?

What is the standard multiplyer # of a 2600xp barton? and what speed should the processor actually run at?

ahh, thank you very much.

I was confused when newegg said that the 2600xp ran at 1.9ghz and mine was running at 2.1ghz

1.9 ghz is about right for the barton 2600 i believe . if i remember correct amd also made a non barton 2600 and that one runs at 2.1ghz
the barton is 166 fsb and the non barton is 133 fsb .

hmmm....im running at 38 C full load as of now....i think i may look into some overclocking since it says that most bartons can get around 2.2 on air cooling.

now just gotta find out how to overclock

Im using an epox 8rda+, btw

raise the fsb 1-2 mhz at a time .

if he started out at 2.1ghz then he most likely does not have the barton. i dont know what the other 2600+ chip is. that temp doesn't sound too good for overclocking. my 2600+ barton is running at 2.2ghz right now (3200+) and it's temp is only 40C.
