Synchronizing files. How?

I recently purchased a new monster PC. It is now connected with this Internet-PC via a patched cable, so that I can easily move files between the computers.
However, I use both machines infrequently, so I forget to save documents (for example) in both My Documents folders. Is there a prog or something simple to sychronize the folders on my PCs?

Thanks

What OS? WinXP has that function built-in. I've never used it myself though (I always turn it off) so I can't help with how to do it effectively.

Isn't that what "My Briefcase" is for?
