Kids Strange problem receiving e-mail

My friend's father showed me a strange problem he is having receiving email from only one person. When he gets an email from this one person, he gets the email notification (ding) that he has new mail. The email goes instantly into the deleted folder before he even gets the chance to see or open it. He uses outlook express for his mail. Any body know what would cause this?

Sounds like maybe your friend's father has the sender on his block list

Maybe try getting rid of OE. If not try maybe getting rid of his email off of OE and redo it.
