DVDshrink?

For those of you you who use DVDshrink, what ratio is acceptable?

I'm trying to back up the Band of Brothers DVD set that I have, and there are 10 1-hour episodes spanning 5 DVD's. (2 episodes per disk)

I can shrink 2 episodes down onto 1 DVD-R at an 88% ratio. That is really high. Good.

But I can fit 3 episodes on the disk with a 60% ratio, and a whopping 4 episodes on one disk with a 51% ratio.

At what percent does the movie quality start to get bad?

Thanks

your really dont even notice it at 60% compression... although i wouldnt reccomend going past that. Just because of the fact that to me it gets a little blurry when you compress..but thats me

I like to stay around 20% if I can. Movies with slower motion.. like a drama can be compressed more where as a movie with action like the matrix will have lots of motion blur as you crank up the compression which lowers the bitrate.

Got 3 Full episodes onto 1 DVD at 57% Compression and couldn't even notice it except for one scene in a dark room with a candle.

Awsome program DVDshrink is.
