dreamcast repair guide

anyone happen to know where i can DL a dreamcast repair guide or something like it. i got a friend with a dreamcast on the fritz and i think i might be able to repair it just looking for some kinda helpful guide.

What's the problem though?
Maybe you can find in another forum (maybe gaming or emulation or whatever) users that can help in specific situations.!

Let me know if you find. Been looking too. I got one here that the laser hangs on track or somthing once and a while. If you push it back hole way on track with finger then clean it. It will pick up disc's again. Like it sticks or goes to far? Once and a while it stops reading and I have to do that to it. Like say once a week. Got real noisy to-can here the track going back and forth. LOL> other one my bro's dog killed. She fried the paddle interface somhow. Bro was playing it-dog decided the cord looked like somthing to chew (pup at time), whap. I got that for his house warming gift with lots of games and accesories. Lasted all of 2 weeks. Now boots and plays. Just doesnt see any paddle in any port now. If I could mix the two or somthing. Might just have to gut it and see -whats to loose? They rocked when released. Playstation and N64 called it daddy! And Dreamcast not the xbox was the first to use a real pc 3d accellerator modded to console. Also had its own os Windows CE. LOL. I thought it was a shaim they discontinued. Major graphic/sound power in their day.
