NO beeps no vid wahts wrong

Hey guys

i have had my computer dead now since black friday and im really starting to get frustrated becasue i jsut cant get it to work.

It started when i put a new cd rom drive in my computer. I booted it up and it lasted about 10 15 minutes before the video went whacky then it restarted and would not turn back on at all. I figured it was my mobo(fic VC31, 9500, 512 pc133, 250w psu) so i got a new one and this (fic vc11 had to have sdram thats why i got it and also got a new 500w psu new case and 512 more ram) and it starts up all the fans go on and such. But still no post or video. I thought maybe it was the processor so i got a new one of those(p4 1.8a) and still just turns on.

I have tried useing diferent vid cards (pci and agp) bu none have worked. I have taken all cards out of the pci slots

plz help me plz plz plz

Try taking everything off the IDE busses and only using that one new stick of RAM (not both sticks). Take all PCI cards out, too. Give it a shot.
