Power DVD or CPU problems?

You guys and this forums are the source of knowledge for a lot of people, thank you all for sharing your brains and time.
That being said.
I wonder why is it that sometime while watching a movie in my PC
at some points in the movie the dialog seems few seconds later than the image?
I got an awesome system, plenty of memory, awesome viedo card, so why the problem?
Anyone?
Thank you again
Carlos

I was talking about the drive itself, not the software.Should have been more specific, I apologize. What brand is your DVD optical drive.Possible FAQ at their website regarding incompatibility with Power DVD.

Now about the software, is the Power DVD a purchased item or an OEM version or trial version. Is the Power DVD software have all updates?Try another software application such as nDVD and try that. If no problems, possibly the software might be at fault. If the nDVD or whatever trial version you use does the same thing, then you might have a drive issue.
