new windows in I.E appear minimized off screen

OK...my best description of my problem would be that when I open a fresh I.E. window it opens correctly, but when clicking on a link from that open window, it opens the link...it shows up on the windows taskbar, but it doesnt appear open on the desktop...instead....when I right click on the taskbar tab representing the newly opened window and resize it to "Maximise", it seems to appear from a dot in the center of my desktop.
I am using XP pro, I.E. 6.0, I run Spybot and Adaware pro, Regclean and consistantly do windows update all on a weekly basis. I also run Norton Antivirus 2003 professional and have live update.
This seems to be an inconsistant problem as well. It will do this for a period of time and then suddenly stop. Then it will start doing it again randomly.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

a quote from someone else.....

"It’s the ws/zeneba worm virus. It’s a very new virus and it spread
rapidly the last few days. No known cure yet. I did a Google search
for it but I can’t find any info yet."

Try right clicking on it and moving it, use your keypad on the keyboard to move it around, once you do for a moment, move your mouse and it should be moving the minimized window. Then place it on the desktop and stretch it out, have had apps do that to me on occaisons.
However try updating virus deffinitions and scanning and run adaware as well and see if that helps.

Bump for this issue... This is on a newly formatted XP Pro install wth only about a week of use before this began happening again...
I always do a full format... NTFS, Windows XP Pro, then I immediately install Norton AV 2004 Pro, Adaware 6 Pro, Spybot, Regclean, Diskeeper 7, XP Smoker, optimize and update everything and do all Critical and reccommended windows updates and then go about installing my main programs...
I used it for a week with no problem and then all of a sudden I am having this problem again.
all linked web pages I open are minimized to a dot on my screen that has to be Maximized.
There HAS to be a registy fix or some setting I can change to fix this..... Anyone?
