DOOM III April Release?

I was in the local Electronics Boutique yesterday and i noticed the big empty advertisment boxes on one of their shelves with Doom III on it. On the back it had the some screen shots, and it looked like an authentic retail box (just bigger).

I asked the two guys behind the counter when the release date was and they said April. Has anyone else heard this news?

Makes sense. Puts them in direct sales war with H-L2. Oh, the irony.
