Adding favorites en mass from text to IE 6
I have recieved a horde of urls from a boss that wants them added to a "misc favorites" file for all new users.
If it was a few or even a dozen, i'd happily waste the time typing each one in one ata time, but not with 100+.
So riddle me this: Is there a way to add mass quantities of favorites from soft-copy text to a IE6 favorites file?

Welcome to TEchIMO!!
One thought ...... is the text printed out?
If so scanning and using OCR software might save the typing thing.
Still would have to copy and paste in your browser and go to the site and then add each one.
Not really a great solution.

Thanks for the welcome, been here awhile, just lurking about like most.
I haven't found much of a solution, other than the obvious.
But if I do, you be sure that I will tell all about it.

I wouldn't waste time in typing in all those URL's. I'd let the system do it's work for you.
Take the text file and copy/paste the entire list into a post like this forum. When you hit enter, the system will make each and every one a Hyper link. Then, you right click on each one, and then click ADD to Favorites. Quick and painless.
Then be sure to go back and edit the post and remove the list.

Thanks for all the help.
It is much appreciated. Too bad there isn't a way to burn one's knowledge to DVD then upload into a newbie. That would be soo much quicker.
Hmmm...
