Does anyone know the differences between Corsair's memory types? I was wondering what the difference is between the
Twinx-3200LL
VS.
Twinx-3200C2
I was reading on their site and came across their recommendation for the P4P800 Deluxe as the C2 type memory(enthusiast). I currently have the LL type and was wondering if I am not using the optimum memory for my board. I do not plan on overclocking it so I just wanted best performance from my ASUS board and stock CPU. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I know, that is why I only bought 512 and was not planning on changing any settings as far as O/C'ing is concerned. But I do want the best for stock settings. Is their really any difference?
The only thing that appears to be different are the latency numbers. Generally, lower latencies are better.
I figured that is what the LL stood for, but I am still confused as to why they wouldn't recommend the LL style when you select an ASUS board for P4. They did however have the LL recommended for some of the AMD boards. Is there something that the P4 does that likes the C2 better and vice versa with the Athlon?
My guess is that it's a compatibility issue. There are some boards that aren't compatiable with certian memory modules. For example, with the Asus A7N8X Deulxe, some people had compatibility problems with certain Corsair (and other manufacturers') modules.
I said earlier that only the latencies differered but upon closer inspection, some C2 and LL modules have the same latencies. Look at the link above. The charts give the latencies.
