Haven't read of that one, but my last 3 boards have been Soyo's - and I don't upgrade often! They've all met the promised usage AND withstood the test of time - far more important to me!

I've got a Soyo Dragon Ultra KT333, no real complaints other than VIA drivers have proved kinda flaky on occasion.

I have an old Socket 7 (circa 1969)

It was DOA - Defective On Arrival! The vidcard won't sit properly. I must start it then hit reset at start of each yearly session.

Good luck.

Brangwen

Might check Soyo website

I am still usisng a Soyo Dragon+ motherboard and still love it! Best motherboard I've ever owned, and I've been building my own pcs since the 386/486 days (iow I've had a LOT of motherboards over the years).

I've built 2 SOYO KT400 Ultra systems (one for me, one for my sister), 15+ SOYO Dragon+ systems, and about 5 or 6 SOYO KT333 Dragon Lite systems (all for work)...every one of them runs like a champ! As a matter of fact, it's the only board that hasn't given me any problems so far. Best board I've ever used...been building systems for about 5 years now I guess.

Can't go wrong with SOYO IMHO.
