whats some good singleplayer games?/dialup rant!!!

since my STUPID 26.4 dialup connection makes it impossible to play any games online (except starcraft but its laggy and SOAF which is VERY laggy) i am pretty much limited to singleplayer. whats some good singleplayer games? trying to play online is so frustrating i just wanna take the modem and smash it into tiny little pieces!!!

I liked the single player on Call of Duty and Jedi Academy wasn't bad in my opinion either.

Star wars KotOR, halflife (cheap), fallout (really cheap) all have excellent single player

Half-life single player is good.
Jedi Knight 2 : Jedi Outcast is very good also.

Fallout series are excellent single player.

All Jedi Knight - Star Wars series. The latest title was very good but I have forgotten whats it called.

The Diablo series will keep you busy for like a month or two, but all the Blizzard games were meant for online, so...

I really liked the Star Wars series...

If you're computer is laggy, don't get Warcraft, but it is very fun.

Have you tried Escape Velocity: Nova? It's an old game you can download.
